Give Help

There are many ways for you to lend a helping hand with our programs

Wish Lists:

These wish lists (coming soon) include the most commonly needed and requested items in our programs. The Amazon Wish List gets updated throughout the year, and a portion of the proceeds when you shop with your Amazon Smile account will go towards Bean’s Cafe and The Children’s Lunchbox. You can also save yourself a trip and have it shipped directly to us. You can also like us on Facebook. Every Thursday we post a wish list of the Cafe’s most pressing needs

Fundraisers:

We are primarily supported through the generous donations of individuals in our community, and so fundraisers are an important part of keeping our doors open. If you would like to throw your own fundraiser, private or public, please take a moment to read through our fundraising guidelines and fill out the attached form, and then email it to our Marketing & Outreach Officer, Melissa Webber, mwebber@beanscafe.org.

BEAN-a-fits and Catering Options:

What’s a Bean-a-fit? A super fun, uber-delicious, and easy fundraising opportunity for groups large and small! A Bean-a-fit is a lunch provided by Bean’s Cafe of two bean soups and the best cornbread in town. Bean-a-fits are great for office get-togethers, church meetings, and friendly gatherings. Just choose an option that works for you and we’ll make it happen! Click here for our Bean-a-fit form. Please complete and email to our Marketing & Outreach Officer, Melissa Webber, mwebber@beanscafe.org

Option “A”

Full Service Bean-a-fit

Select your soups, then pick a date, and we will prepare, deliver, and serve the soups and cornbread. We can also bring mugs and soup mixes to sell at your request

Option “B”

Half & Half Bean-a-fit

Select your soups, then pick a date, and we will prepare the soups and cornbread, and you pick it up, serve it, and then return the equipment to Bean’s Cafe afterwards. This must be prepaid, and a deposit is required on any equipment rented for the Bean-a-fit (e.g. chafing dishes, pans, etc.)

Option “C”

DIY Bean-a-fit

Select your soups and pick a date, then give us a shout. We’ll set you up with as many soup mixes you need, and you can host your own Bean-a-fit. Soup mixes must be prepaid, and proceeds can be mailed or delivered post-event.
