Volunteering
We are heavily dependent upon volunteer assistance and work with 50 to 60 or more client volunteers each day, who assist with kitchen preparation, basic housekeeping, grounds keeping, and maintenance work.
Community volunteers range from elementary school children to retirees. Civic, military, and religious groups, office colleagues, teens, families and friends make up the corps of Bean’s volunteers. Opportunities include assisting with breakfast and lunch service, helping with special events, clerical assistance and various activities sponsored by groups and individuals to benefit Bean’s Café.
