Bean’s Café is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit that has been serving meals and providing shelter to the needy in Anchorage for over 30 years. Its tax ID Number is 92-0072522. For many years it has provided services to its clientele with the consistent support of Alaska’s corporations, foundations and individuals but realized that its funding sources were becoming flat in today’s economy.
Fortunately in 2009 it began to receive funding through the State of Alaska Permanent Fund Pick.Click.Give. program. Through this program Bean’s Cafe has seen the amount of funds donated through Pick.Click.Give. increase from $9,000 per year in 2009 to over $56,000 in 2011. The amount of donors also increased from 179 individuals in 2009 to over 1,000 individuals in 2011.
This year with your help we hope to raise over $75,000 and increase our donors to 1,250 individuals through the Pick.Click.Give. Program.

Memorial/Honorariums
The death of a friend or loved one can be devastating. Many of our supporters find that it is healing to celebrate the life of a departed friend or loved one by remembering them with a memorial donation to Bean’s Café which will assist in the well being of another in need.
