How to…
- Once you complete your PFD application online, you are given the opportunity to support Bean’s Café through Pick.Click.Give.
- Simply choose from the drop down menu “Bean’s Café”
- And select an amount to donate, it’s as simple as that. The minimum donation amount is $25 and you can donate up to your entire dividend.

Bean’s Café is a long standing non-profit that has been serving meals and providing shelter to the needy in Anchorage for over 30 years. For many years Bean’s Cafe has provided services to its clientele with the consistent support of Alaska’s corporations, foundations and individuals, but realized that its funding sources were becoming flat in today’s economy.
Fortunately in 2009 Bean’s Cafe began to receive funding through the State of Alaska Permanent Fund Pick.Click.Give. program. Through this program Bean’s Cafe has seen the amount of funds donated through Pick.Click.Give. increase from $9,000 per year in 2009 to over $56,000 in 2011. The amount of donors also increased from 179 individuals in 2009 to over 1,000 individuals in 2011.
This year with your help we hope to raise over $75,000 and increase our donors to 1,250 individuals through the Pick.Click.Give. Program. Thank you for your past and future support!
